University of Kashmir (KU), a NAAC Accredited Grade A++ institution located in Hazratbal, Srinagar, has announced 15 vacancies across three non-teaching positions through Advertisement Notice No. 06 of 2026 dated 28-03-2026. The recruitment covers Store Keeper posts at Level-04 and Senior Technical Assistant and Lab Assistant posts at Level-06. Posts are spread across the Main Campus, Satellite Campuses, and various academic departments including CORD, Computer Science, Electronics & Instrumentation Technology, and the Institute of Home Science. Salary

• Store Keeper (Level-04): Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month
• Senior Technical Assistant (Level-06): Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month
• Lab Assistant (Level-06): Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month
• You will also get DA, HRA, and other allowances as per UT of J&K Government / University rules.

Application Fee

• Application fee details: Will be specified in the detailed advertisement notification.
• Based on Kashmir University's recent non-teaching recruitment (Advt. 02 of 2026), the application fee was Rs. 1,200 for all categories. PwD candidates were exempted from payment of application fee. Payment was through online mode.

Selection Process

The selection process will be as follows:

1. Written Test: The scheme of examination and syllabus will be notified separately and uploaded on the University website at www.kashmiruniversity.net.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will need to produce the printout of their online application form along with all supporting documents (original and self-attested copies).

Services are transferable between different Satellite Campuses of the University of Kashmir.

• Manage and maintain inventory of stores, equipment, and supplies in the assigned department or campus
