Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a Government of India undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, is looking for a senior Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) officer to serve as Chief Personnel Officer at its headquarters in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. This is a deputation post with an initial term of 3 years, which can be extended up to 5 years. KRCL operates the iconic Konkan Railway route along India's western coast and this role is ideal for experienced railway personnel officers seeking a challenging leadership assignment.

Who Can Apply?

• Service: You must be an Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) officer.
• Experience: You need a minimum of 14 years of service in Group 'A' and above.
• Current Grade: You should be presently working in SAG/NFSAG/SG grade.
• Forwarding: Your application must be forwarded by the Railway Board. Officers in Zonal Railways and PSUs must get approval from the Competent Authority in the Ministry.

Salary

• Pay Scale: SAG/NFSAG/SG as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level 14 (Rs. 1,44,200 - Rs. 2,18,200) or Level 13 (Rs. 1,23,100 - Rs. 2,15,900).
• You will draw pay and allowances as per DOPT instructions that have been admissible to you from time to time.
• Additionally, you will receive Railways plus deputation (duty) allowance.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on:

1. Shortlisting: Eligible applicants will be shortlisted based on their eligibility, experience, and service record as mentioned in the vacancy notice.

• Manage all personnel and human resource functions of KRCL including recruitment, training, and career development
• Handle establishment matters, service rules, and employee welfare activities across the organization
• Oversee industrial relations and ensure smooth functioning of staff associations and unions
• Prepare and implement HR policies in line with Railway Board and DOPT guidelines
• Monitor staff discipline, conduct proceedings, and handle grievance redressal
• Coordinate with Railway Board and Ministry of Railways on deputation, promotion, and transfer matters
• Prepare annual manpower budgets and manage organizational restructuring when needed
