Nagpur Veterinary College (MAFSU) Project Technical Support III Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Department of Veterinary Pathology at Nagpur Veterinary College, under Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), has announced a walk-in interview for one Project Technical Support - III post. The project is titled "Bacteriophage and One-Health Approach Tackling AMR Infections in Humans, Animals, and Environment" and is funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, with a duration of three years or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The work involves both field activities (cattle sample collection) and laboratory work (microbial culturing, PCR, molecular analysis).

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification (any one)

• 3-year graduate degree in Microbiology or Biotechnology + 3 years of post-qualification experience, OR
• Post Graduation in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Veterinary Pathology / Veterinary Microbiology / Animal Biotechnology.

Desirable Qualification

• Additional research or work experience and training in microbial sampling, processing, cultural isolation of microorganisms and PCR.
• Knowledge of computer applications and data management.
• Good documentation and communication skills.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years on the day of interview.
• Age relaxation will be available as per Government of India / ICMR rules for reserved categories.

Salary

• Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 28,000 per month plus 20% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
• The pay is governed by GOI/ICMR rules for extramural research projects.
• No hostel or other accommodation will be provided by the institute.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining the post.
