NCRTC Assistant Manager (Electrical) Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts

National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is a Joint Venture of the Government of India and participating State Governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. NCRTC is responsible for implementing the Namo Bharat Project, a dedicated high-speed rail-based commuter service connecting regional nodes across the National Capital Region. Three corridors are planned in the first phase: Delhi-Meerut, Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar, and Delhi-Panipat-Karnal. This is a re-employment opportunity for retired government and PSU professionals with deep expertise in Extra High Tension (EHT) electrical infrastructure. The Delhi-Meerut corridor is already fully operational for commercial revenue services.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a B.E. or B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from a UGC-recognised university or AICTE-approved institution.
• Essential Experience: You must have at least 20 years of work experience in Central Government, State Government, or Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
• Specialisation: You should have hands-on experience in construction works involving EHT lines and cables of 132 KV or higher voltages.
• Desirable: Experience working with Haryana Vidyut Nigam or similar power utilities is preferred. At least 5 years specifically in EHT lines and cables of 132 KV or higher is desirable.
• Scale of Pay at Superannuation: CDA Scale Rs. 67,700-2,08,700 (Level 11) or above, or IDA Scale Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 (E3) or above.
• Teaching or freelancing experience will not count as qualifying experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 65 years as on 17 March 2026.
• There is no minimum age requirement specified.
• This is a re-employment position for retired professionals, so the higher age limit reflects the seniority and experience required.

Salary

• You will receive a consolidated lump sum salary of Rs. 68,189 per month.
• You will also get HRA and other benefits as per NCRTC company policy.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Document Verification: Your original certificates will be checked before the interview. You must carry all original documents on the interview day. If your documents do not match the eligibility criteria, you will not be allowed to proceed to the interview.
2. Interview: Eligible candidates who clear document verification will appear for a personal interview. The venue, date, and time will be communicated in advance. No requests for date or venue changes will be entertained.

• Plan and monitor the shifting of electrical lines that obstruct the Namo Bharat corridor alignment, including 66 KV and above EHT lines and cables
• Oversee construction works related to 33 KV, 11 KV, and 415 V underground cables and overhead lines replacing existing overhead electrical infrastructure
• Coordinate the shifting of underground cables that replace existing 66 KV and above EHT overhead lines along the project alignment
• Manage the relocation of LT overhead lines and street-light poles that interfere with the Namo Bharat corridor
• Work with state power utilities and local authorities to secure clearances for electrical line shifting works
• Prepare progress reports and maintain records of all electrical infrastructure shifting activities
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards during all electrical works on the project
