National Health Mission (NHM), District Banda, under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Uttar Pradesh, is hiring 16 MBBS Doctors and 01 AYUSH Doctor on a contractual basis for various health programs running across the district. These posts cover child health, telemedicine, urban primary health centres, community health centres, and the district women's hospital. Selection is purely through walk-in interview with document verification — there is no written exam. Doctors with MBBS or AYUSH qualifications looking for contractual positions in government health facilities should apply.

Who Can Apply?

For MBBS Medical Officer Posts (16 posts):

• Qualification: You need an MBBS degree from a recognised university.
• Registration: Valid registration with the State Medical Council or MCI/NMC is required.

For AYUSH Medical Officer Post (01 post - Male Only):

• Qualification: You need a BAMS, BHMS, or BUMS degree.
• Experience: At least 6 months of professional experience in a State Ayurvedic, Unani, or Allopathic hospital or dispensary.
• Gender: Only male candidates are eligible for the AYUSH Medical Officer post.

Age Limit

• For NPC/PM-ABHIM Medical Officer posts: Maximum age is 65 years.
• For AYUSH Medical Officer post: Maximum age is 62 years.
• For other MBBS posts: Age limit as per NHM UP norms.

Salary

• NPC/PM-ABHIM Medical Officer: Rs. 80,000 per month (basic) + Rs. 20,000 performance-based incentive = up to Rs. 1,00,000 per month.
• Bal Swasthya, Telemedicine, CHC, EMO Medical Officers: Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per month (depending on experience and performance).
• AYUSH Medical Officer: Rs. 32,000 per month.

These are contractual positions. Salary is consolidated and does not include separate allowances like DA or HRA.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Document Verification: Your educational certificates, experience certificates, identity proof, and other documents will be checked.
2. Walk-in Interview: You will appear for a personal interview at the Chief Medical Officer's Office, Banda.

Final selection will be based on your performance in the interview and verification of documents. The District Health Committee / State Health Committee will handle any grievances as per UP government rules.

How to Apply

2. Carry your updated CV / biodata along with all original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies.
3. Bring all educational certificates (High School, Intermediate, MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BUMS degree, internship completion).
4. Carry your medical council registration certificate (MCI/NMC/State Medical Council).
5. Bring identity and address proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card).
6. Carry experience certificates if you have prior work experience.
7. Attend the walk-in interview at the scheduled time.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.

• Provide outpatient and inpatient medical care to patients at the assigned health facility
• Diagnose illnesses, prescribe medicines, and monitor patient recovery
• Handle emergency cases and refer critical patients to higher centres when needed
• Conduct health camps, immunisation drives, and awareness programs in the community
• Maintain proper records of patients, treatments, and medicines dispensed
• Follow NHM guidelines and report health data to the District Health Officer regularly
• Work in coordination with ANMs, nurses, and other health staff at the facility
• Provide telemedicine consultations where applicable (for Telemedicine MO posts)
