National Health Mission (NHM) Karnataka, operating under the Karnataka State Health & Family Welfare Society, has announced a walk-in interview for 13 vacant positions across various health programmes. These posts cover multiple departments including Tuberculosis Elimination (NTEP), Reproductive and Child Health (RCH), Family Welfare, Immunization, Leprosy Eradication (NLEP), Urban Health Mission (NUHM), and more. All 13 posts are unreserved (UR) and are temporary, purely on contract basis. Who Can Apply?

Each post has different qualification requirements. Here is what you need for each position:

Technical Officer - Procurement & Logistics (Rs. 35,000)

• MBA or PG in Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
• OR PG Diploma in Procurement Logistics Management
• OR PG Diploma in Health or Hospital Administration plus Certificate Course in Computer Operation (minimum 2 months)
• Experience: 2 years in NTEP or health sector (candidates with health sector product experience preferred)

Medical Officer (Rs. 60,000)

• MBBS or equivalent degree recognised by Medical Council of India
• Must have completed compulsory rotatory internship
• Experience: 1 year in relevant field is preferable

NHM Consultant (Rs. 80,000)

• MBBS with Community Medicine
• OR MHA, Health Care Management, or Health Economics
• Experience: 2 years in health system analysis, planning, and management of change in health sector

HR Consultant (Rs. 55,000)

• MBA in HR
• Experience: 2 years in the relevant field

Programme Assistant (Rs. 25,000)

• Any degree from a recognised university
• Experience: 2 years in the relevant field

Procurement Officer - FPLMIS (Rs. 50,000)

• Post-Graduation in Technical Streams: M.Tech, M.E in CS, E&C, IS, IT, or MCA
• Experience: 2 years in IT field

Vaccine Logistic Manager (Rs. 18,000)

• Bachelor Degree OR Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognised university
• Experience: 2 years (candidates with vaccine handling experience preferred)

State Leprosy Consultant (Rs. 55,000 - 80,000)

• MBBS with MD (Community Medicine), MPH, or DPH from a recognised university
• OR BDS with MPH, DPH, or DPHM
• OR BAMS with MPH, DPH, or DPHM
• Experience: 3 years in government sector for any national programme
• Salary varies by qualification: MBBS - Rs. 80,000; BDS - Rs. 60,000; BAMS - Rs. 55,000

MIS Data Manager (Rs. 30,000)

• BCA, MCA, or Masters in Population Studies, Demography, Statistics, or Mathematics
• Must be proficient in MS Office, Data Analysis, and Kannada and English typing
• Experience: 3 years in large-scale data management in the health sector

NPPCD Consultant (Rs. 55,000)

• Degree or Diploma in Community Medicine, Preventive and Social Medicine, or Community Health Administrative
• OR MPH OR MBA in Health Care Administration from an MCI-recognised institute
• Experience: 3 years in public health programme, preferably in non-communicable disease

Legal Consultant (Rs. 55,000)

• LLB from a recognised university with registration in any State Bar Council
• Additional qualification in Legal or Health-related subject is preferred
• Experience: 2 years in handling cases at District, High, or Supreme Court

NFDS Consultant (Rs. 50,000)

• Master Degree in Science, Biochemistry, or Microbiology
• OR MBBS OR MBA
• Experience: 5 years in procurement for government or administration of department laboratories

M & E Manager (Rs. 25,000)

• BE in Computer Science OR Master in Computer Application (MCA)
• Experience: 2 years in the health sector

Additional requirements for all posts:

• Speaking, reading, and writing in Kannada language and typing proficiency is mandatory
• Proficiency in computers (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
• Full-time course from a recognised university is required

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years (applicable for all 13 posts)
• No minimum age has been specified in the notification

Salary

• Highest Salary: Rs. 80,000 per month (NHM Consultant and State Leprosy Consultant with MBBS)
• Medical Officer: Rs. 60,000 per month
• HR Consultant / NPPCD Consultant / Legal Consultant: Rs. 55,000 per month
• Procurement Officer - FPLMIS / NFDS Consultant: Rs. 50,000 per month
• Technical Officer: Rs. 35,000 per month
• MIS Data Manager: Rs. 30,000 per month
• Programme Assistant / M & E Manager: Rs. 25,000 per month
• Vaccine Logistic Manager: Rs. 18,000 per month
• These are consolidated salaries on contract basis. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through a single-stage process:

1. Walk-in Interview: Candidates will be interviewed directly by the selection panel at the NHM office. Selection is made on a Merit cum Roster basis.
2. Document Verification: You must bring all original documents along with self-attested photocopies to the interview venue.

Only successful candidates in the interview process will receive further communication. The rest will be treated as not selected.
