Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: You need a Graduation degree (Bachelor's degree) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. You must have your degree certificate or marksheet on the day of registration.
- Experience: You must have a minimum of 18 months of post-qualification branch experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (listed in the Second Schedule of RBI). The experience cut-off date is 20 April 2026.
- Local Language: You need to be proficient in reading, writing, and understanding the local language of the state you are applying for. A language proficiency test will be conducted before joining.
- Computer Knowledge: You should have working knowledge of computer operations.
- Credit History: You must maintain a healthy credit history with a minimum CIBIL score of 650 at the time of joining.

Salary
- Pay Scale: Rs. 48,480 - 2,000/7 - 62,480 - 2,340/2 - 67,160 - 2,680/7 - 85,920
- You will join at the initial pay of JMGS-I plus 3 additional increments in the scale of pay.
- Increments for acquiring JAIIB and CAIIB qualifications will be protected and the pay scale adjusted accordingly.
- You will also get DA, HRA (or Leased Accommodation), CCA, Medical, LTC, Terminal Benefits, and other perquisites as per prevailing bank rules.
- Probation Period: 6 months
- Service Bond: 3 years (bond amount equals 3 months' gross salary)

Selection Process
The selection will be done in the following stages:
- Online Written Test: 120 objective-type questions for 120 marks in 120 minutes with sectional timing. Conducted in bilingual mode (English and Hindi, except the English section). Minimum qualifying marks are 40% for UR/EWS and 35% for reserved categories in each section.
- Screening: Candidates will be shortlisted based on written test performance for the interview.
- Personal Interview: Conducted at New Delhi. Call letters will be sent by email only.
- Local Language Proficiency Test: Reading, writing, and understanding of the opted local language. Conducted before joining for provisionally selected candidates. If you have studied the local language up to 10th or 12th standard, you may be exempted from this test.
- Final Merit List: Written test marks (out of 120) will be converted to 70 marks and interview marks (out of 50) will be converted to 30 marks. Final score = Written Test (70%) + Interview (30%) = 100 marks. Merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise.

Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day banking operations at the branch level, including customer service and transaction processing.
- Manage loan processing, credit appraisal, and disbursement activities for retail and small business customers.

Online Written Test Pattern
You will face an objective-type online exam with 120 questions carrying 120 marks and a total duration of 120 minutes. Each section has its own time limit, so you cannot switch between sections.
- English Language: 30 questions, 30 marks, 30 minutes (English only)
- Banking Knowledge: 40 questions, 40 marks, 40 minutes (English and Hindi)
