Sangli Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd, a Scheduled Bank headquartered at Khanbhag, Sangli (Maharashtra), is looking to fill senior management positions at its Head Office. The bank has advertised three separate notifications for General Manager, Assistant General Manager (Loan), and Head of Department roles. All three positions are leadership roles requiring significant banking experience, with the GM post being the second-highest position in the bank hierarchy after the CEO. Who Can Apply?

For General Manager:

• Qualification: You need a Graduate or Post Graduate degree from a recognised university.
• Preferred: CAIIB, JAIIB, Diploma in Banking and Finance, Diploma in Co-operative Business Management, CA, Cost Accountant, or MBA.
• Experience: At least 15 to 20 years in general banking. Minimum 5 years at senior management level (Chief Manager / AGM / DGM).
• Skills needed: Knowledge of banking operations, credit, compliance, audit, IT, and legal matters. Excellent managerial and administrative abilities.
• Preference for candidates with co-operative banking experience.

For Assistant General Manager (Loan):

• Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate from a recognised university.
• Preferred: CAIIB, JAIIB, Diploma in Banking and Finance, Diploma in Co-operative Business Management, CA, Cost Accountant, or MBA (Finance).
• Experience: At least 10 to 15 years in general banking. Minimum 5 years in the Loan Department at senior management level.
• Job Profile: Credit Department.
• Preference for candidates with co-operative banking experience.

For Head of Department:

• Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate from a recognised university.
• Preferred: CAIIB, JAIIB, Diploma in Banking and Finance, Diploma in Co-operative Business Management, CA, Cost Accountant, or MBA (Finance).
• Experience: At least 10 to 12 years in the relevant field. Senior management experience as Senior Officer / HOD / Chief Manager.
• Preference for candidates with co-operative banking experience.

Age Limit

• General Manager: You should be between 50 and 55 years old at the time of appointment.
• Assistant General Manager (Loan): You should be between 40 and 50 years old at the time of appointment.
• Head of Department: You should be between 35 and 50 years old at the time of appointment.

Salary

• Salary for all three posts is negotiable.
• The bank has stated that salary will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.

• Manage overall banking operations at the Head Office level and coordinate with branch offices
