RVNL General Manager (Civil) Recruitment 2026 — 2 Posts

RVNL, a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, is responsible for implementing rail infrastructure projects across the country. The original notification dated 20 March 2026 advertised 1 post, but an addendum dated 30 March 2026 revised the number to 2 posts. This is an excellent opportunity for senior civil engineering officers to work on major infrastructure projects at RVNL's Nagpur unit.

Who Can Apply?

You need to be a serving officer in the IRSE / Civil Engineering cadre from Indian Railways, other CPSEs/PSUs, or Central/State Government organizations. You must hold one of the following:

• Analogous grade posts in CDA or IDA pay scale (Level-14 CDA / IDA E-8)
• Posts in Level-13 (CDA) with at least 17 years of Group A service
• Posts carrying IDA E-7 grade (Rs. 1,00,000 - 2,60,000) for at least 4 years

Preferred experience: Candidates with experience in planning, execution, and management of infrastructure projects — including Metro Rail, Urban Rail, and MRTS projects — in Metro Rail Corporations, CPSEs/PSUs, or Central/State Government organizations will get preference.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: Below 58 years
• Cut-off date: Age is calculated as on the closing date of the vacancy notice (18 April 2026)

Salary

• Pay scale: Level-14 (CDA) / IDA E-8 (Rs. 1,20,000 - Rs. 2,80,000)
• Compensation: Parent Pay plus Deputation Allowance as per Government of India rules
• CDA Level-14 basic pay range: Rs. 1,44,200 - Rs. 2,18,200 per month

• Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality standards for all civil engineering works
• Prepare and review detailed project reports, estimates, and technical specifications
• Work with contractors and consultants to ensure timely completion of assigned projects
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements during project execution
