Who Can Apply?
For TGT Maths
- Qualification: Graduation in Mathematics with at least 50% marks in the subject and in aggregate

- TET/CTET: Must have passed TET/CTET Paper-2
For TGT Social Science
- Qualification: BA in History / Political Science / Geography / Economics with at least 50% marks in the subject and in aggregate
- B.Ed: B.Ed in relevant subject from a government-recognised university
- TET/CTET: Must have passed TET/CTET Paper-2
For PGT Computer Science
- Qualification: M.Sc (Computer Science/IT) or MCA or M.E./M.Tech (CS/IT) with at least 50% marks
- B.Ed: B.Ed Degree in Computer Science/IT with at least 50% marks, OR 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed, OR 4-year Integrated Degree with B.Ed component from NCTE-recognised institution
Desirable for all posts: 5 years teaching experience in the subject, ability to teach in English and Hindi, residential school experience (preferably military-biased), willingness to take on NCC training as ANO, and achievements in NCC/Sports/Co-curricular activities.
Age Limit
- TGT Posts: You should be between 21 and 35 years old as on 01 April 2026
- PGT Post: You should be between 21 and 40 years old as on 01 April 2026
- Age Relaxation: SC, ST and Ex-Serviceman candidates get 5 years relaxation (TGT up to 40 years, PGT up to 45 years)
- No age relaxation beyond 50 years for any category
Salary
- TGT Maths and TGT Social Science: Level 7 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix -- Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month
- PGT Computer Science: Level 8 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix -- Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100 per month
- You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Sainik Schools Society rules

Selection Process
The selection will be done in 3 stages:
- Written Test (Weightage 50%): 100 marks, 1 hour duration. You need to score minimum 50% marks to qualify for the next stage. Covers General Knowledge (15 marks), General English (15 marks), Basic Maths (10 marks), and Subject Test (60 marks)
- Classroom Demonstration (Weightage 30%): Your teaching ability will be tested in an actual classroom of the appropriate level. Maximum 100 marks. Only candidates who pass the written test will be called for this stage
- Interview (Weightage 15%): 100 marks. Marks for Higher Qualification and Experience carry 50 marks (Weightage 5%). Only candidates who pass classroom demonstration will be interviewed
Selection is purely on merit. Any candidate attempting to influence the selection through solicitation will be disqualified.

Responsibilities
- Teach assigned subjects to students as per the CBSE curriculum and lesson plan
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, question papers, and exam evaluations
- Guide students in academics, career planning, and co-curricular activities
- Participate in NCC training activities and serve as Associate NCC Officer when required
- Assist in hostel supervision, sports, and extra-curricular events at the residential school
- Maintain student progress records and coordinate with parents on academic performance
- Follow Sainik Schools Society rules and contribute to the overall discipline of the institution
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Graduation with B.Ed and TET/CTET (TGT) or M.Sc/MCA/M.Tech with B.Ed (PGT), 50% marks required
Preferred Qualification
5 years teaching experience, fluency in English and Hindi, residential/military school experience, NCC achievements
Required Skills
Teaching in English and Hindi, knowledge of Computer Applications, NCC training willingness
