Who Can Apply?

For TGT (General Science) — Regular Post:

• Qualification: Bachelor's/Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in Science subjects (Biology/Life Science/Botany/Zoology as main, with Chemistry and Botany/Zoology as subsidiaries) plus B.Ed from an NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks.
• Alternative: Four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks including B.Ed component.
• CTET: You must have passed CTET Paper-II conducted by CBSE.
• Language: You should be able to teach in both Hindi and English medium.
• Desirable: M.Sc Chemistry preferred. Experience in a residential school, proficiency in games and co-curricular activities, and computer knowledge are added advantages.

For TGT (Social Science) — Contractual Post:

• Qualification: Bachelor's/Honours Degree with at least 50% marks. You should have studied any two subjects out of History, Geography, Economics, and Political Science during graduation, with one being either History or Geography as a main/elective subject for at least 3 years.
• B.Ed: B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognised university is required.
• CTET: You must have passed CTET Paper-II conducted by CBSE.
• Language: Proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English medium.

For Music Teacher — Contractual Post:

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Music from a recognised university, with Music studied as the main subject in all three years of the degree.

For Lower Division Clerk (LDC) — Regular Post:

• Qualification: You need to have passed Matriculation (10th Class) from any recognised board.
• Typing: Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Computer: Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet.
• Desirable: Knowledge of shorthand, ability to correspond in English, and knowledge of accounting procedures and inventory management.

Age Limit

• TGT (General Science), TGT (Social Science), Music Teacher: You should be between 21 and 35 years old as on 17 April 2026.
• LDC: You should be between 18 and 50 years old as on 17 April 2026.
• Age Relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years (maximum age becomes 40 years for TGT/Music Teacher, 55 years for LDC)
• Age Relaxation for OBC: 3 years (maximum age becomes 38 years for TGT/Music Teacher, 53 years for LDC)

Salary

• TGT (General Science): Pay Level-07 under 7th CPC — Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 per month plus DA and other allowances as per Sainik Schools Society rules.
• TGT (Social Science) & Music Teacher: Consolidated salary of Rs 70,942 per month (no additional allowances).
• LDC: Pay Level-02 under 7th CPC — Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,400 per month plus DA and other allowances as per Sainik Schools Society rules.

• General / OBC: Rs 500 (Non-refundable, via crossed Bank Draft in favour of Principal, Sainik School Rewari, payable at Rewari)
• SC / ST: No fee (exempted)
• You must also attach a self-addressed envelope with Rs 56 stamps affixed.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process. The school will review all applications and select candidates based on eligibility and qualifications.
2. Selection Test/Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for further selection. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the selection process.
3. Document Verification: You will need to present original certificates and documents at the time of selection.
