BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), a premier research institute under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC), Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is hiring for 3 project positions at its CDSA centre. CDSA is a niche centre within THSTI dedicated to supporting clinical development of affordable healthcare products for public health. These are contractual positions linked to specific research projects in areas ranging from flu vaccine development to neonatal sepsis research and respiratory virus surveillance. Who Can Apply?

For Principal Project Associate (Rs. 49,000 + HRA):

• Essential: Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) OR MBBS/BVSc/BDS or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Desirable: Experience in clinical trial or public health project management and/or monitoring in a recognised organisation such as academic clinical trials units, CROs, pharma or biotech companies.
• Job Location: Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, Tamil Nadu

For Assistant Data Manager - DBT Sepsis (Rs. 52,080):

• Essential: Graduation in any field (preferably science) with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in clinical data management, clinical research, MIS, data analysis, IT, computer science, or healthcare field.
• OR: Master's degree in any field (preferably science) with at least 2 years of experience in similar areas.
• Desirable: Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Applications.
• Job Location: THSTI, Faridabad

For Assistant Data Manager - Respiratory Viruses (Rs. 56,000 + HRA):

• Essential: Master's degree in any field with 4 years of post-qualification experience in clinical data management, clinical research, operations, MIS, data analysis, IT, computer science, or healthcare field.
• OR: Graduation in any field with 6 years of experience in similar areas.
• Desirable: Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Applications.
• Job Location: THSTI, Faridabad

Age Limit

• Principal Project Associate: Up to 40 years
• Assistant Data Manager (DBT Sepsis): Up to 40 years
• Assistant Data Manager (Respiratory Viruses): Up to 45 years

Age Relaxation:

Salary

• Principal Project Associate: Rs. 49,000/- per month plus HRA
• Assistant Data Manager (DBT Sepsis): Rs. 52,080/- per month (consolidated)
• Assistant Data Manager (Respiratory Viruses): Rs. 56,000/- per month plus HRA

These are consolidated monthly emoluments for project-based positions. The salary is fixed and does not follow government pay scales, though HRA is provided separately for two of the three positions.

Selection Process

3. Interview: Candidates who clear the written test or skill test will appear for a personal interview.

Note for Assistant Data Manager posts: These follow the online application route. You will be called for written test/skill test/interview after shortlisting.

• Conduct monitoring visits for clinical trial protocols and trial sites, ensuring compliance with GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Manage data management plans, edit checks documents, annotated CRFs, and data entry guidelines for assigned research projects.
• Prepare interim study reports, data extraction reports, and performance dashboards to track study progress.
• Coordinate with cross-functional project teams including clinical operations, data science, and quality assurance units.
• Handle query management, data cleaning, data freezing, and data archival activities for clinical databases.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of paper-based and electronic Case Report Forms (CRFs) for clinical studies.
• Work with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and advanced Excel to generate interactive dashboards and reports.
• Follow GCP, US-FDA 21 CFR 11 regulations, CDISC, and SDTM standards in all data management activities.
