YASHADA Associate Professor Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA), the apex training institute of the Maharashtra Government located in Pune, is looking for an experienced officer to join as Associate Professor on deputation. This position falls under Group-A and is governed by the deputation policy outlined in the Government Resolutions dated 17 December 2016 and 16 February 2018. This is a deputation-only post -- only serving Maharashtra state government officers in the specified cadre are eligible to apply. If you have strong experience in rural development and training, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to governance capacity building in Maharashtra.

Who Can Apply?

• Educational Qualification: You must hold a post-graduate degree from a recognised university.
• Service Cadre: You must be currently working under the Maharashtra Development Service (MDS) cadre.
• Current Position: You should be serving as Additional Chief Executive Officer, Project Director, or an equivalent-rank post.
• Experience: You need a minimum of 5 years of experience in administration within the Rural Development Department of Maharashtra.
• Preferred: At least 5 years of experience in a training and research institute will be given preference.
• Domain Knowledge: You must have sound knowledge of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and livelihood-related subjects.
• Eligibility Check: No pending disciplinary proceedings, criminal cases, or departmental inquiries should be active against you under Maharashtra Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules.

Salary

• This post carries Pay Level S-25 under the Maharashtra State Pay Matrix.
• Basic pay ranges from Rs. 78,800 to Rs. 2,09,200 per month.
• The equivalent Grade Pay is Rs. 7,600.
• You will also receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits as per Maharashtra Government rules.
• Since this is a deputation post, your pay will be fixed as per the deputation policy in the Government Resolutions dated 17/12/2016 and 16/02/2018.

Selection Process

There is no written exam or interview for this post. Selection will be done purely on a deputation basis:
