Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has released notification Advt. No. 383/HR/Asst. Sec Off/25-26 for 7 Assistant Security Officer (Grade E-I) posts. The recruitment is open only to ex-JCOs of the Indian Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Organisations. Application is online only — no manual or paper applications will be accepted.

Who Can Apply?

• Nationality: You must be a citizen of India.
• Qualification: You need a Degree in any discipline from a recognised University. Minimum marks: Pass Class.
• Experience: You must be in JCO grade at the time of leaving the Army / Navy / Air Force / Central Paramilitary Organisation.
• Document Proof: Discharge Certificate from previous employer clearly showing period of employment and post held.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 40 years (as on 01 May 2026).
• Age Relaxation:
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • Retired from Armed Forces: Additional 5 years relaxation over and above SC/ST/OBC relaxation.
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government guidelines.

Salary

• Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000 - 3% - Rs. 1,20,000 (E-I grade).
• Approximate CTC: Rs. 7.75 lakhs per year.
• You will also get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Conveyance Allowance, Perquisites at 35% of annual basic pay, medical reimbursement, Group Insurance, PF, Pension, Gratuity etc. as per company rules.

Selection Process

Selection will be in the following stages:

1. Written Test (85 marks): Held in Bengaluru only. Tentatively in June/July 2026.
2. Interview (15 marks): Conducted in Bengaluru for candidates who clear the written test.
3. Document Verification: Original documents must be produced.
4. Pre-employment Medical Examination: Candidates must be found medically fit as per company norms.

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• General / OBC (NCL): 35% in both Written Test and Interview separately.
• SC / ST: 30% in both Written Test and Interview separately.

Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed travel by A/C Chair Car / III Tier AC by shortest route on production of tickets.

• Oversee physical security of BEL units, installations and assets
• Supervise security personnel and coordinate shift rosters
