BOB Capital Markets Limited (BOBCAPS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of Baroda established in 1986, has invited applications for the post of Assistant Vice President (AVP) in its Investment Banking Equity division. BOBCAPS is a SEBI-registered Category I Investment Banker offering services across IPOs, M&A advisory, debt syndication, equity capital markets, and institutional broking. This is a senior-level opportunity for experienced investment banking professionals who have a strong track record in M&A, private equity, and capital markets deal origination and execution.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Graduate degree from a recognized university in India or overseas. Preference will be given to candidates holding an MBA, CFA, or CA qualification.
• Experience: You must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Investment Banking Equity. You should have worked as a sector or client coverage banker for at least 1-2 years.
• Industry Relationships: You should have established relationships with corporates, Private Equity firms, Distress Asset Funds, and other relevant investor segments.
• Deal Experience: You must have a demonstrated track record of originating and executing M&A, Private Equity, and Capital Markets deals.

Key Skills Required

• Financial Modelling: Excellent skills in building and analyzing financial models
• Deal Execution: Familiarity with all phases of the deal-making process from origination to closure
• Pressure Handling: Ability to work well under pressure, follow through on tasks to completion while staying professional
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work both independently and in cross-functional team environments
