Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ), Ajmer, has released advertisement CURAJ/R/F.175/Rectt./2026/5174 dated 11 May 2026 for 3 Assistant Professor posts in its Centre for Distance & Online Education (CDOE). One post each is open in Management, English, and Commerce. Selection is through walk-in interview - there is no written exam. The appointments are purely contractual for one year or till further orders, whichever is earlier.

Who Can Apply?

For Assistant Professor - Management

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline + Master's degree in Business Administration / PGDM / CA / ICWA / M.Com. with First Class or equivalent at master's level
• Minimum 60% marks in at least two preceding examinations before Master's degree
• Qualified UGC-NET in Management or relevant discipline (or Ph.D. as per UGC 2018 Regulations, exempted from NET)
• Minimum 2 years professional experience after Master's degree
• Area of specialisation: Financial Management, Marketing Management, or General Management

For Assistant Professor - English

• Master's degree in English from an Indian or accredited foreign university
• At least 55% marks in Master's degree and at least 60% marks in at least two preceding examinations
• Qualified UGC-NET in English (or Ph.D. as per UGC 2018 Regulations, exempted from NET)

For Assistant Professor - Commerce

• Master's degree in Commerce from an Indian or accredited foreign university
• At least 55% marks in Master's degree and at least 60% marks in at least two preceding examinations
• Qualified UGC-NET in Commerce (or Ph.D. as per UGC 2018 Regulations, exempted from NET)
• Area of specialisation: Accounting, Finance, General Management, or Taxation

Age Limit

• The notification does not specify a minimum or maximum age limit. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged candidates is as per University and Government of India rules.

Salary

• Consolidated monthly salary: Rs. 60,000 per month
• The pay is consolidated, so no separate DA, HRA, or other allowances are paid
• Selected candidates are not entitled to benefits available to regular employees of CURAJ

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done through walk-in interview only:

3. Personal Interview: Conducted by the selection committee at CURAJ
