These openings are spread across four zonal offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai. No application fee is charged and selection is through document verification and personal interview. Who Can Apply?

For Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, IT, Mechanical, or related discipline
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field
• Qualifying Marks: At least 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ST candidates)

For Technical Officer on Contract (TO-C):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience
• Qualifying Marks: At least 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ST candidates)

For Assistant Project Engineer on Contract (APE-C):

• Qualification: Diploma in ECE, ETC, Electronics, or related discipline
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience
• Qualifying Marks: At least 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ST candidates)

For Senior Artisan on Contract (SA-C):

• Qualification: ITI in Electronics, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Instrumentation, Radio & TV, or related trade
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience
• Qualifying Marks: Passed Out

Apprenticeship in the relevant field (maximum one year) is also counted as experience. Experience from academic institutions, colleges, internships, or project work is not considered.

Age Limit

• Project Engineer (PE-C): Maximum 33 years (for UR category)
• Technical Officer (TO-C): Maximum 30 years
• Assistant Project Engineer (APE-C): Maximum 30 years
• Senior Artisan (SA-C): Maximum 30 years
• Age Relaxation: OBC - 3 years, SC/ST - 5 years, PwBD (40%+ disability) - 10 years additional, J&K domicile (01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989) - 5 years
• Cut-off date for age calculation is the date of walk-in selection.

Salary

Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C):

• 1st year: Rs. 40,000/month
• 2nd year: Rs. 45,000/month
• 3rd year: Rs. 50,000/month
• 4th year: Rs. 55,000/month
• Plus a one-time attire allowance of Rs. 8,400 after completing 6 months

Technical Officer on Contract (TO-C):

• 1st year: Rs. 25,000/month
• 2nd year: Rs. 28,000/month
• 3rd & 4th year: Rs. 31,000/month

Assistant Project Engineer on Contract (APE-C):

• Consolidated salary: Rs. 25,506/month
• Revised every 6 months as per CLC (Central) guidelines

Senior Artisan on Contract (SA-C):

• Consolidated salary: Rs. 23,368/month
• Revised every 6 months as per CLC (Central) guidelines

All selected candidates also get benefits like Medical Insurance premium reimbursement, Company PF, TA/DA (on official duty), and Paid Leave as per ECIL rules.

Application Fee

• No application fee for any category. This is a walk-in selection and there are no charges to attend.

Selection Process

Selection is through a walk-in process with the following stages:

1. Registration: Report at the venue between 09:00 hrs and 11:30 hrs. No entry after 11:30 hrs.
2. Document Verification: Your original certificates, experience letters, and identity proof will be checked.
3. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will face a personal interview. Final selection is based on merit (A+B+C scoring).

Merit Scoring Breakdown (Total: 100 marks):

• A. Qualification (20%): 20% of your aggregate percentage in B.E./B.Tech./Diploma/ITI
• B. Relevant Experience (30 marks): For PE-C: 15 marks for initial 3 years + 5 marks per additional year (max 30). For TO-C and APE-C: 10 marks for initial 1 year + 10 marks per additional year (max 30). For SA-C: 15 marks for initial 2 years + 5 marks per additional year (max 30).
• C. Personal Interview (50 marks): Performance in the face-to-face interview

• Handle maintenance, repair, and installation of electronic systems, IT equipment, and communication networks at assigned project locations
• Manage networking and IT infrastructure including servers, LAN systems, and related hardware
• Work on access control systems, surveillance equipment, and security instrumentation as per project requirements
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system logs for ongoing projects
• Assist in software development, testing, and deployment activities for ECIL's business verticals
• Monitor and maintain instrumentation systems, radiation detection equipment, and electronics components
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards as per ECIL's management system guidelines
