Who Can Apply?

All qualifications must be obtained from a recognised Institute/University (only full-time regular courses, except CA/CMA/CS). Cut-off date for qualification, experience and age: 30 April 2026.

Senior Manager / Engineer Posts

  • B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg.) in the relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks
  • Senior Manager: 12 years post-qualification experience
  • Engineer: 1 year post-qualification experience

Manager (HR)

  • MBA in HR / Personnel Management OR PG Degree / Diploma in HR / PM&IR / Labour Welfare OR Master in Social Work with HR specialisation, with minimum 65% marks
  • 8 years post-qualification HR experience

Jr. Draftsman Gr I and Gr II

  • Diploma (3-year minimum course) in Chemical / Mechanical / Civil with 65% marks
  • Gr I: 5 years AutoCAD drafting experience (3 years in Smart P&ID for Process post)
  • Gr II: 1 year AutoCAD drafting experience

Junior Assistant Grade-III

  • HR post: Full-time BBA with 60% marks + 1 year HR experience
  • Hospitality post: Full-time Graduate in Hotel Management / Hospitality with 60% marks + 1 year F&B / Housekeeping / Catering experience

Required for all posts: Proficiency in computers is essential.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age (as on 30 April 2026):
    • Senior Manager (Projects / Electrical): 40 years
    • Manager (HR): 36 years
    • Engineer (all disciplines): 28 years
    • Jr. Draftsman Gr I and Gr II: 30 years
    • Junior Assistant Grade-III: 30 years
  • Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates: 5 years. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years. PwD: additional 10 years over respective category relaxation.
  • Upper age is also relaxable for Ex-Servicemen and Departmental candidates.
  • Qualification relaxations: PG in engineering (relevant) — 1 year experience relaxation. Ph.D in engineering — 4 years experience relaxation. Ph.D in Business Administration — 2 years experience relaxation over PG.

Salary

  • Senior Manager: Rs. 90,000 - 2,40,000 (IDA pay scale) — CTC approx Rs. 30.29 lakh per annum
  • Manager: Rs. 80,000 - 2,20,000 — CTC approx Rs. 26.80 lakh per annum
  • Engineer: Rs. 60,000 - 1,80,000 — CTC approx Rs. 20.12 lakh per annum
  • Jr. Draftsman Gr I: Rs. 26,500 - 1,15,000 — CTC approx Rs. 8.71 lakh per annum
  • Jr. Draftsman Gr II / Junior Assistant Grade-III: Rs. 25,000 - 1,00,000 — CTC approx Rs. 8.23 lakh per annum
  • CTC includes Basic Pay, DA, HRA, other perks & allowances, leave encashment and retirement benefits.
  • Post-Retirement Medical Coverage Scheme is applicable for those joining at 45 years of age or below.

Responsibilities

  • Handle project management or engineering consultancy work in refineries, petrochemicals, pipelines, offshore, metallurgy, infrastructure or fertilizer projects
  • Prepare design and engineering deliverables, including drawings, P&IDs, calculations and reports as per the assigned discipline
  • Support procurement, contracts, material management and supply chain functions for project execution (SCM C&P role)
  • Manage HR functions like recruitment, learning & development, performance appraisal, employee relations, statutory compliance and policy implementation (HR posts)
  • Operate AutoCAD and Smart P&ID software to develop detailed engineering drawings (Draftsman posts)
  • Maintain estates, HVAC, electrical and firefighting systems for EIL offices and installations (Admin & Estate posts)
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors and project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Follow EIL's quality, safety and HSE guidelines on all project sites and offices

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

Varies by post — B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) for Manager/Engineer posts; MBA/PG HR for Manager (HR); Diploma in Chemical/Mech/Civil for Draftsman posts; BBA or Hotel Management graduate for Junior Assistant.

Preferred Qualification

PG in relevant engineering (1 yr exp relaxation), Ph.D in engineering (4 yrs exp relaxation), Ph.D in Business Administration (2 yrs over PG). PG Diploma in Personnel Management / IR / Labour Laws / HRD for Jr. Assistant HR.

Required Skills

Engineering design and project management, AutoCAD / Smart P&ID drafting, HR generalist skills, computer proficiency. Knowledge of refinery / petrochemical / oil & gas / infrastructure project work is preferred.
