Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) — completed from a recognized institution
• Candidates in the final year of D.El.Ed. who have already cleared TET-1 can also apply on a provisional basis
• Alternatively, candidates with Graduation + B.Ed. who have passed the TAT (Teacher Aptitude Test) are also eligible

Teacher Eligibility Test

• You must have cleared TET-1 (Teacher Eligibility Test) conducted by the Gujarat government
• If you hold a B.Ed. degree (instead of D.El.Ed.), you need to have passed the TAT exam

Language Requirement

• Since this recruitment is for Gujarati Medium schools, you must have studied Gujarati as a subject in Std 10 or 12, OR passed the Gujarati Language Test conducted by the State Government

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age (General): 35 years
• OBC/SC/ST/EWS: Up to 40 years (5 years relaxation)
• Age relaxation for PwD and Ex-Serviceman categories as per Gujarat government rules

Salary

• Fixed Salary: Rs. 26,000 per month for the first 5 years
• After 5 years, you will get the regular government pay scale as per Gujarat government rules
• Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical Allowance, and Travel Allowance as per state government norms
• Other benefits: Pension under National Pension System (NPS), medical facilities, insurance cover, and leave travel concession

Selection Process

• Prepare lesson plans, syllabus, and daily teaching material for Std 1 to 5 students in Gujarati Medium
