Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has released the 3rd NCA notification (Cat.No.17/2026) for 1 post of Salesman Gr.II/Saleswoman Gr.II at the Kerala State Handloom Weavers' Co-operative Society Limited (HANTEX). This vacancy is reserved for the Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community under the Society Category. The pay scale is Rs. 4,630-7,000/- per month. HANTEX Salesman/Saleswoman Gr.II Recruitment 2026 — 1 Post

HANTEX (Kerala State Handloom Weavers' Co-operative Society Limited) is the apex body of primary handloom weavers' co-operative societies in Kerala, established in 1961. It manages over 76 showrooms across Kerala and supports more than 20,000 handloom weavers through its member societies. This is the third NCA notification issued because qualified candidates from the Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community were not available in response to the first NCA (Cat.No.285/2023) and second NCA (Cat.No.061/2025) notifications. The selection will be done on a statewide basis.

Who Can Apply?

Community Requirement

• You must belong to the Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community
• This is a Society Category (Part II) recruitment — only regular employees of HANTEX member societies can apply

Educational Qualification

• SSLC pass (10th standard) is required

Experience Requirement

• You must have at least 3 years of regular service in any post in a member society affiliated to HANTEX
• You must be a current regular employee of the member society — both on the date of application and on the date of appointment

Service Certificate

• You need to get a Service Certificate from the Assistant Registrar (General), Co-operative Department
• This certificate must be uploaded at the time of application — applications without it will not be accepted

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 50 years
• You must be born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2008 (both dates included)
• No age relaxation is available for this post — the general age relaxation rules (Para 2 of General Conditions) do not apply here

Salary

• Pay scale: Rs. 4,630-7,000/- per month
• This is the cooperative society pay scale applicable to HANTEX employees
• You will also get DA, HRA, and other allowances as per Kerala cooperative society rules

Selection Process

1. Written/OMR/Online Test — If conducted, you will need to confirm your participation through your One Time Registration profile. Admission tickets can be downloaded 15 days before the exam date
2. Document Verification — You will need to produce original documents for qualification, experience, age, community, and the Service Certificate from the Assistant Registrar (General)

Note: The selection will be made on a statewide basis across Kerala.

3. If already registered, log in with your User ID and password
4. Go to the Notification Link and click 'Apply Now' for Category No.17/2026
5. Make sure your Service Certificate from the Assistant Registrar (General) is uploaded before submitting
6. Upload a recent photograph (taken within 6 months for new profiles) with your name and date printed at the bottom
7. Add your AADHAAR card as ID proof in your profile
8. Save a printout or soft copy of your application for future reference

• Handle sales of handloom products at HANTEX showrooms and retail outlets across Kerala
• Assist customers in selecting handloom fabrics, garments, and related products
• Keep accurate records of daily sales, stock movement, and inventory
• Manage display arrangements and maintain the showroom in presentable condition
• Follow cash handling procedures and process customer payments correctly
• Work with the showroom team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse for replenishment
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports as required by management
