India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL), a wholly owned Government of India enterprise set up in 2006, has released recruitment notification for 37 Officer posts across two grades. IIFCL is one of India's leading public sector infrastructure finance institutions, providing long-term financial assistance to projects in transportation, energy, water, sanitation, and communication sectors. Who Can Apply?

Assistant Manager (Grade A) - Generalist

  • Qualification: Postgraduate degree or diploma in any discipline, or Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) / BA+LLB (5-year integrated), or CA / CS / CMA / B.Tech / B.E. from a recognized university or institution.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in officer cadre in Banks, Financial Institutions, Central or State Government, PSUs, or any other reputed organization.

Assistant Manager (Grade A) - Environment and Social Safeguard

  • Qualification: Engineering or Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in Environmental Management, Environmental Sciences, M.Sc., or Post-Graduation in Social Works, Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, or Development Services.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in officer cadre.

Manager (Grade B) - Generalist

  • Qualification: Same as Grade A Generalist (PG degree / LLB / CA / CS / CMA / B.Tech / B.E.)
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in related areas in financial sector and overall experience of minimum 7 years in the officer/executive cadre. OR same grade or one grade below in another Financial Institution/Bank/PSU.

Manager (Grade B) - Environment and Social Safeguard

  • Qualification: Same as Grade A Environment stream.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in related areas and overall experience of minimum 7 years in the officer/executive cadre.

All qualifications must be from a university, institution, or board recognized by UGC, AICTE, or the Government. Candidates whose results are awaited are not eligible.

Age Limit

  • Grade A (Assistant Manager): You should be between 21 and 30 years old as on 28 February 2026.
  • Grade B (Manager): You should not have crossed 40 years of age as on 28 February 2026.

Salary

  • Grade A (Assistant Manager): Starting basic pay of Rs. 44,500 per month in the pay scale of Rs. 44,500 - 89,150 (17 years). Approximate CTC is Rs. 19 lakhs per annum.
  • Grade B (Manager): Starting basic pay of Rs. 55,200 per month in the pay scale of Rs. 55,200 - 99,750 (16 years). Approximate CTC is Rs. 23.5 lakhs per annum.
  • You will also get Dearness Allowance (DA), Grade Allowance, Local Allowance, House Rent Allowance (HRA), Family Allowance, and Special Allowance as per company rules.
  • HRA is 15% of Basic Pay if leased accommodation is not availed.
  • Other benefits include: leased accommodation, gratuity, leave fare concession, medical reimbursement, meal card, newspaper, book grant, briefcase allowance, festival advance, and loans at concessional rates for car, housing, and travel.
  • Additional increments possible for candidates with JAIIB/CAIIB qualification.

  • SC / ST / PwBD: Rs. 100 (Intimation Charges only)

  • Fee once paid is non-refundable. Transaction charges and GST are borne by the candidate.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 phases:

  1. Phase I - Online Examination (Objective Type): A single paper with 150 questions for 200 marks. You will get 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete it, with separate time allotted for each test. Test I questions carry 1 mark each and Test II questions carry 2 marks each. There is negative marking of 1/4th of the marks assigned to the question. Weightage of this phase is 40%.
  2. Phase II - Interview (Technical and Behavioural): Shortlisted candidates will appear for interview of 100 marks. You can opt for Hindi or English. Interviews will be held at IIFCL office in New Delhi. Weightage of this phase is 60%.

Final merit = Online Exam marks + Interview marks. IIFCL may also conduct Group Discussion or Psychometric Test as an additional assessment tool.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate infrastructure project proposals for financial viability and risk
  • Prepare detailed credit appraisal reports and present recommendations to management
  • Monitor existing loan portfolios and track project milestones and repayment schedules
  • Handle correspondence with borrowers, co-lenders, and regulatory authorities
  • Assist in treasury operations, fund management, and financial planning activities
  • Prepare regulatory compliance reports for RBI, SEBI, and other statutory bodies
  • Work on environmental and social impact assessments for infrastructure projects (ESS stream)
  • Support senior officers in policy formulation, research, and documentation
