IIIT Una, Himachal Pradesh, is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, established by the IIIT (PPP) Act of Parliament No. 23 of 2017. The institute is now looking to fill 4 Group A non-teaching positions through direct recruitment. - Option 3: Postgraduate degree with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA with 15 years of administrative experience, of which 10 years at Level 12 as per 7th CPC
Assistant Registrar
- Postgraduate degree and UG degree with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA with excellent academic record
- 8 years of experience at Level 7 as per 7th CPC
- Desirable: Professional qualification in Management, Finance and Accounts, Administrative, Legal, Finance, Stores and Purchase/Establishments matters
Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil)
- Option 1: M.E./M.Tech. and B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA with 6 years of experience as Assistant Engineer or equivalent at Level 7 as per 7th CPC
- Option 2: B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA with 8 years of experience as Assistant Engineer or equivalent at Level 7 as per 7th CPC
Assistant Physical Education Officer
- PG and UG in Physical Education with minimum 60% or 6.5 CGPA
- 8 years of experience as Sr. Physical Training Instructor or equivalent at Level 7 as per 7th CPC
You must be an Indian National to apply. Candidates serving in government or PSU organizations need to upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Age Limit
- Registrar: Upper age limit — 55 years
- Assistant Registrar: Upper age limit — 50 years

Salary
- Registrar: Pay Level 14 — Basic Pay Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200 per month (7th CPC). Maximum tenure of 3 years or till age 62, whichever is earlier.
- Assistant Registrar: Pay Level 10 — Basic Pay Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month (7th CPC)
- Assistant Executive Engineer: Pay Level 10 — Basic Pay Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month (7th CPC)
- Assistant Physical Education Officer: Pay Level 10 — Basic Pay Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month (7th CPC)
- In addition to basic pay, you will get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other allowances as per central government rules

- Handle administrative operations of the institute including academic administration, finance, establishments, and general administration
- Manage and coordinate non-teaching staff activities and ensure smooth functioning of institute operations
- Prepare reports, records, and documentation as required by the institute and regulatory bodies
- Assist in planning, execution, and supervision of civil engineering projects (for AEE post)
- Work with faculty and staff to organize sports events, physical fitness programs, and student wellness activities (for APEO post)
- Follow all rules and regulations of the institute and Government of India as applicable
- Assist the Registrar and senior officials in academic and administrative decision-making processes
- Monitor compliance with statutory requirements and maintain proper records for audits and inspections
