IIM Mumbai Manager & Campus Protocol Officer Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai), located at Vihar Lake Road, Powai, Mumbai, has invited online applications for two specialized non-teaching roles. Both positions are purely on contract basis with an initial tenure of two years, extendable up to five years based on annual review. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply. Who Can Apply?

For Manager (Compliance & Internal Audit - F&A):

• Qualification: You need to be a Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of post-qualification experience. Working in Higher Education Institutions of National Importance will be preferred.
• Skills needed: Knowledge of Accounting Standards, taxation laws, ERP/Tally-based accounting systems, strong analytical skills, and good drafting ability.

For Campus Protocol Safety & Surveillance Officer:

• Qualification (Option 1): Post-graduate degree from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks.
• Qualification (Option 2): Graduate degree from a recognized University AND a Government-approved Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering (minimum 1-year course) with minimum 55% marks.
• Experience: You need 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity. Leadership and team management experience will be preferred.
• Preference: Candidates with working experience in Government organizations will be given preference.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for both posts: 45 years
• Age is calculated as on the closing date for receipt of applications, i.e., 09 April 2026.
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-serviceman candidates is available as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Manager (Compliance & Internal Audit): Monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 1,05,000
• Campus Protocol Safety & Surveillance Officer: Monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 75,000
• Accommodation at IIM Mumbai campus may be provided subject to availability. If not available, out-of-campus allowance may be given as per Institute rules.
• Medical benefits and medical insurance may be provided as per the Institute's rules.
• Mobile reimbursement is admissible as per Institute norms.

Selection Process

The Institute may conduct any combination of the following:

1. Shortlisting: The Screening Committee will shortlist candidates. The Institute may restrict the number of candidates called for test or interview to a maximum of 5 or fewer per post.
2. Written Test and/or Skill Test (if deemed appropriate by the Institute)
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. You must bring all original certificates and documents for verification at this stage.
4. Document Verification: All original certificates, degrees, experience letters, and other documents will be verified.

Note: The candidate may be hired for a lower post if deemed fit by the Institute.

• Handle financial compliance reviews, statutory obligations, and internal audit functions for the Institute
• Monitor adherence to taxation laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements within the institutional framework
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, government authorities, and regulatory bodies on compliance-related matters
• Manage campus security, surveillance, and safety systems to maintain a secure institutional environment
• Oversee operation of CCTV and surveillance infrastructure while ensuring data confidentiality
• Establish and review SOPs for campus security, access control, emergency response, and protocol management
• Supervise preventive maintenance and upgradation of fire safety and emergency management systems
• Prepare reports, financial notes, and submissions to senior authorities as required
