Selection Process

The selection follows a multi-stage process. First, the Screening Committee shortlists candidates based on their bio-data, qualifications, and experience. Shortlisted candidates are then called for an interview at ITRA Jamnagar. For certain technical roles, a written test or skill test may also be conducted to assess subject knowledge and aptitude. Finally, document verification and a medical examination by a competent Medical Board complete the process before appointment.

• Deliver lectures, conduct practical sessions, and guide postgraduate research in the respective Ayurveda department
• Supervise and mentor MD/MS and PhD scholars in their dissertation work
• Conduct and publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals indexed in SCOPUS or PubMed
• Participate in curriculum development, academic administration, and examination duties
• Provide clinical services in the OPD and IPD of the attached hospital (for clinical departments)
• Contribute to continuing medical education programs, workshops, and national seminars
• Manage administrative and technical operations of the department (for Deputy Director and Pharmaceutical Chemist posts)
