Mizoram Public Service Commission (Mizoram PSC) has announced a Limited Competitive Examination for filling 3 vacancies in the Junior Grade of Mizoram Civil Service under the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms (Civil Service Wing). This is a promotion-level exam for serving government officers in Mizoram state departments who currently hold Group B positions at Level 07 or above. Who Can Apply?

• Service Requirement: You must be a serving officer in Group B at Level 07 or above in the Mizoram Government with at least 7 years of regular service in the grade after appointment on a regular basis, counted as on 1 August 2026.
• Qualification: You need at least a 3-year degree from a recognised university established by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature, or from a UGC-recognised institution, or a foreign university approved by the Central Government.
• Citizenship: You must be a citizen of India.
• Language: Working knowledge of Mizo Language at Middle School standard is compulsory.
• NOC Required: You must obtain a No Objection Certificate from your Administrative Head or Cadre Controlling Authority confirming no vigilance case is pending against you.

Note: Professional and technical qualifications recognised by the Government as equivalent to a degree are also accepted.

Age Limit

• You must not have exceeded 54 years of age as on 1 August 2026.
• Your date of birth as recorded in the HSLC or HSSL will be treated as the valid proof. No other documents like horoscopes, affidavits, or municipal birth extracts will be accepted.

Salary

• Selected candidates will receive salary under Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
• Entry pay starts at Rs. 56,100 per month, going up to Rs. 1,77,500 per month.
• You will also receive DA, HRA, and other allowances as per Mizoram Government rules.

• You must pay the application fee as prescribed by the Commission.
• Persons with Disabilities: Exempted from payment of application fees.
• Payment Mode: Through UPI only, using the mobile number registered during One Time Registration.
• Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Selection Process

The selection will be done through the following stages:

1. Written Examination (Preliminary): A written exam will be conducted by the Mizoram Public Service Commission. The syllabus is available on the Commission's official website.
2. Personal Interview: Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for a personal interview.
3. Document Verification: All original documents will be checked before final selection.

How to Apply

1. Go to the MPSC online portal at mpsconline.mizoram.gov.in.
2. Create a new account if you have not registered yet (One Time Registration is required).
3. Complete your One Time Registration and wait for MPSC verification.
4. Once verified, log in and fill in the LCE application form.
5. Upload the required documents including NOC from your department head.
6. Pay the application fee through UPI.
7. Submit the application before 17 April 2026, 4:00 PM.
8. Verify that your application has been successfully submitted after payment.
