NBCFDC Junior Consultant & Field Officers Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC), a Government of India undertaking under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, has released notification for 3 contractual positions under the SEED Scheme. These include 1 Junior Consultant (SEED) and 2 Field Officers (SEED). The selected candidates will support the Corporation in promoting the Livelihood component of the SEED Scheme across Haryana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. The initial contract is for 6 months, which may be extended based on performance.

Who Can Apply?

For Junior Consultant (SEED) - 1 Post:

• Qualification: You need a Master's Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, Anthropology or a related field.
• Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience in research, field work and project evaluation in the social development sector.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of government welfare schemes for marginalized communities, especially DNTs. Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
• Language: You must be proficient in English and Hindi. Knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
• Preferred: Previous experience working with NRLM/SRLM programs on livelihood initiatives (farm-based and non-farm based).

For Field Officers (SEED) - 2 Posts:

• Experience: Experienced person, preferably retired from Government Service or PSU, willing to travel and work with marginalized communities.
• Skills: Strong verbal communication skills are essential.

Age Limit

• Junior Consultant (SEED): Maximum age is 35 years as on 28 February 2026.
• Field Officers (SEED): You must be below 63 years of age as on 28 February 2026.

Salary

• Junior Consultant (SEED): Competitive consolidated salary based on your educational qualifications and work experience.
• Field Officers (SEED): Consolidated salary based on qualifications and experience.
• For retired government officials, salary will be calculated as per Government guidelines.

• Conduct research on government welfare schemes and policies for DNT communities across 6 states
• Plan and carry out field visits to monitor and evaluate NGO-led livelihood initiatives
• Collect qualitative and quantitative data through interviews, surveys and direct observation
• Prepare impact reports, case studies and policy briefs for NBCFDC leadership
• Work with civil society organizations, NGOs and community leaders to strengthen partnerships
• Facilitate community meetings, capacity building workshops and stakeholder consultations
• Train NGO partners on data collection, monitoring and evaluation methods
• Assist in updating the DWBDNC website with project data, reports and key findings
