Who Can Apply?
Counselor (Samupdesak)
- Education: Recognized university degree + Master of Social Work (MSW)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in HIV/AIDS counselling
Laboratory Technician
- Education: Recognized university B.Sc. degree + DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in HIV blood testing in a laboratory
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 38 years (as on the date of advertisement)
- OBC candidates: 5 years age relaxation (up to 43 years)
- Candidates with AIDS control experience: Those who have previously worked in government or semi-government AIDS control organizations can apply up to 60 years of age
Salary
- Monthly honorarium: Rs. 23,100/- (consolidated, for both posts)
- This is a lump-sum payment — no separate allowances like DA or HRA are provided
- Selected candidates must deposit one month's honorarium as a security deposit before joining

Responsibilities
- Provide pre-test and post-test counselling to clients visiting FICTC centres for HIV testing
- Conduct HIV rapid testing and blood sample collection following NACO guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of all tests, counselling sessions, and client follow-ups
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure safe handling of bio-hazardous materials
- Assist in awareness campaigns and community outreach activities related to HIV/AIDS prevention
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for NACO and State AIDS Control Society
- Work with the Project Management Unit team to meet FICTC performance targets

Minimum Qualification
Recognized university degree with MSW or B.Sc. with DMLT
