Prasar Bharati (India's Public Service Broadcaster) has invited applications for 2 Anchor-cum-Correspondent Grade-I positions at the Directorate General of DD News in New Delhi. This is a contractual engagement for experienced broadcast journalists who can anchor news bulletins and also report from the field. Who Can Apply?

• Educational Qualification: You need a Degree from a recognized university or institute, plus a Degree or PG Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Experience: You must have at least 8 years of experience in the relevant field (broadcast journalism, news anchoring, or TV reporting).
• On-Screen Presence: You should have a camera-friendly face with a voice of very good quality that is suited for telecast. Correct pronunciation, accent, and modulation are essential.
• Language: Proficiency in English and Hindi is preferred.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.

Salary

• The monthly remuneration for Anchor-cum-Correspondent Grade-I is negotiable between Rs. 80,000 and Rs. 1,20,000.
