Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released Vacancy Circular No. C-13/2025-26 dated 24 March 2026 for engagement of one Senior Associate Consultant Grade-I (Technical) on contract basis in the QoS-II Division at its headquarters in New Delhi. TRAI is a statutory body established under the TRAI Act, 1997 to regulate telecommunications services and protect the interests of service providers and consumers. This is a specialized AI/ML role where you will work on designing and validating analytical models, building backend systems, and integrating cloud-based tools for regulatory purposes. Professionals with four years of experience in AI/ML development, data analytics, and cloud deployment should consider applying.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Educational Qualification: You need two degrees to be eligible for this post:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in Electronics & Communication or Computer Science from a recognized university, AND
  • A Master's Degree or Post Graduation Diploma in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence from a recognized university.
• Essential Experience: You must have at least 4 years of post-qualification work experience in the following areas:

• This means you must have been born on or after 25 March 1991 to be eligible.

Salary

• Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 1,20,000 per month (fixed)
• Transport Allowance: Rs. 8,000 per month (fixed)
• Total monthly take-home: Rs. 1,28,000 per month
• If your contract gets extended, you will receive an annual increment of Rs. 10,000 on each renewal.
• The initial contract is for one year from the date of joining, extendable up to a maximum of four years based on performance and TRAI's requirements.
