  • Qualification: B.E. Mining Engineering + Second Class Mines Manager Certificate (Unrestricted) for metalliferous mines
  • Experience: 2 years in production line of large mechanized underground or opencast mines

Civil Post (Dy. Superintendent)

  • Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience: 5 years, preferably in structural design of industrial buildings, dams, and contracts

  • Qualification: Engineering Degree + 1-year Diploma in Materials Management, or Degree + 2-year PG in Materials Management, or MBA in Materials Management

Medical Post (Dy. Manager)

  • Qualification: MBBS recognized by the Indian Medical Council; PG degree is an added qualification

  • Qualification: Degree in Environmental Engineering, or other Engineering branch / Ph.D in Chemistry backed with PG Diploma in Environmental Engineering/Sciences

Industrial Engineering Post (Asst. Superintendent)

Selection Process

Selection for each post may include the following stages:

  1. Shortlisting: Your application will be screened based on eligibility. UCIL may limit the number of candidates called for the next stage.
  2. Written Test / Trade Test / Psychometric Test / Group Exercise / Personal Interview: Depending on the post, one or more of these methods will be used. Only shortlisted candidates will be called.
  3. Document Verification: Original certificates for age, qualification, experience, pay scale, and category will be verified at the time of test/interview.

  • Handle domain-specific functions in your assigned discipline (Accounts, Personnel, Mining, Legal, Medical, Civil, Purchase, etc.)
  • Manage day-to-day operational and administrative tasks of the assigned department
  • Prepare reports, maintain records, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, government agencies, and regulatory authorities
  • Work in and around underground mining operations in a safety-first environment (for mining and engineering posts)
  • Contribute to operational efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement projects
  • Guide and supervise junior staff or trainees when posted as a manager or superintendent

CA/ICMAI (for Accounts posts) or relevant Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Law/Medicine/Management with post-qualification experience
