Who Can Apply?

For Works Manager and Assistant Works Manager:

• Retired from: Indian Railways or Indian Railway PSUs
• Retirement pay level: 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-11 (equivalent to 6th CPC PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100, Grade Pay Rs. 6,600) or above at the time of retirement
• Educational Qualification: Degree (BE/B.Tech) or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Production Engineering from a recognised university/institute (AICTE approved)
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in a Workshop of Indian Railways or Railway PSUs
• Note: This vacancy is specifically for retired railway officers seeking re-employment — it is not open to freshers or currently serving employees.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 63 years
• Since this is a re-employment position, applicants must have already retired from Indian Railways/PSU service and should be within the age limit at the time of application.

Salary

• Pay will be fixed as per Railway Board rules for re-employment (typically last drawn basic pay minus pension amount, subject to applicable ceiling).
• The pre-retirement pay scale for eligible candidates was 7th CPC Level-11 (Rs. 67,700 - Rs. 2,08,700 per month).
• Actual re-employment pay is governed by Government of India re-employment guidelines — refer to the official notification for exact terms.

Selection Process

Selection will be done in the following stage:
