The Assam Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd. (ACAB), a Scheduled Bank under the RBI Act 1949 with its head office in Panbazar, Guwahati, has invited applications for 15 posts of Assistant Branch Manager / Assistant Manager under Officer Grade-E. This recruitment aims to strengthen the bank's staff and boost its business operations across Assam. There is no written exam -- selection will happen through a direct personal interview. Experienced banking professionals with an Officer Grade background should consider this opportunity.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Graduate degree with at least 55% marks from a recognised university, OR a Post Graduate degree in any discipline.
• Preferred Qualification: CAIIB, MBA, or Chartered Accountancy (C.A.) holders will be preferred.
• Experience: You must have at least 4 years of experience in the banking sector, specifically in a similar Officer Grade position or higher.
• Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen.
• Local Language: You must be well conversant with the local language (Assamese).
• Computer Knowledge: A certificate of computer proficiency is required.
• In-Service Candidates: If you are currently employed, you must apply through proper channel.

Age Limit

• You should be between 28 and 40 years old as on 01 January 2026.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs. 31,630 to Rs. 82,290 per month.
• Grade Pay: Rs. 7,900
• You will also receive DA, HRA, Medical Allowance, and other benefits as per bank rules.

• Applications without the fee in the form of DD/Pay Order will be rejected.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection will be done through a single stage:

1. Direct Personal Interview: Applications received before the deadline will be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria. Shortlisted candidates will be individually notified about the interview date and time. The bank reserves the right to call only the required number of candidates.

Note: No TA (Travelling Allowance) will be provided for appearing in the interview.

3. Paste one recent passport-size photograph on the form with your signature across it, and attach one extra copy.
4. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents (educational certificates from HSLC onwards, experience certificates, age proof, caste certificates, computer proficiency certificate, and other qualifications).
5. Prepare a Demand Draft or Pay Order of Rs. 1,000 in favour of "The Assam Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd." payable at Guwahati.
6. Put everything in a sealed envelope and write "Application for the Post of Assistant Manager/ABM" on it.
