The Office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Bamra Wildlife Division has announced recruitment for 1 Veterinary Officer under Notice No. 08 of 2025-26. This is a temporary contractual position, and the selected candidate will be engaged through a Service Provider. Both fresh veterinarians and retired veterinarians are eligible to appear for the walk-in interview. Responsibilities
- Provide veterinary care and treatment to wild animals in the division's forests and protected areas
- Conduct regular health check-ups and vaccinations of wildlife as per schedules
- Handle emergency rescue operations for injured or sick wild animals
- Prepare detailed reports on animal health, treatment records, and disease surveillance
- Assist in wildlife census and population monitoring activities
- Work closely with forest rangers and field staff on animal conservation efforts
- Manage medicines, veterinary equipment, and supplies for the division
