Salary

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct surveys and maintain records of children aged 0-6 years, pregnant women, and nursing mothers in the assigned area
  • Provide supplementary nutrition, pre-school education, and health check-ups at the Anganwadi centre
  • Educate women on nutrition, hygiene, breastfeeding, and childcare practices through home visits
  • Assist health staff in immunisation drives and vitamin supplementation for children
  • Maintain registers and submit monthly reports to the CDPO on centre activities
  • Organise community meetings and awareness programmes on maternal and child health
  • Refer malnourished children and high-risk pregnant women to the nearest health facility
