OSC Guntur Para Legal Personnel Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
The District Women and Child Welfare and Empowerment Officer, Guntur under the Government of Andhra Pradesh has invited applications for 1 Para Legal Personnel/Lawyer post at the One Stop Centre (OSC), Tulluru. One Stop Centres operate under the Mission Shakti scheme and provide integrated support to women affected by violence, offering legal aid, medical assistance, counselling, and temporary shelter under one roof. This is the 3rd notification for this position. The vacancy falls under SC-II category (Group-II) in the roster. Women candidates who hold a Law degree and have relevant experience in women-related programmes should apply before the deadline.
Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: You need a Degree in Law, or legal training with knowledge of laws.
- Experience (Option 1): At least 3 years of experience working in a Government or Non-Government women-related project or programme at the district level.
- Experience (Option 2): You should be a practicing Lawyer with at least 2 years of litigation experience in any court of law.
- Gender: Only women candidates are eligible to apply.
- Domicile: You must be a resident of Guntur District and possess a valid domicile certificate.
Age Limit
- You should be between 18 and 42 years old.
- Age Relaxation: As per Government of Andhra Pradesh norms for reserved categories.
Salary
- Selected candidates can expect a salary of approximately Rs. 20,000 per month (consolidated, as per OSC scheme norms).
- This is a contractual position for an initial period of one year, subject to performance review and scheme continuation.
Selection Process
Selection will be done in the following stages:
- Screening of Applications: Your application will be checked for eligibility based on qualification and experience.
- Merit-Based Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic merit and relevant experience.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear before the District Level Selection Committee for an interview.
- Document Verification: Original documents will be verified at the time of interview.

Responsibilities
- Provide legal aid and counselling to women affected by violence who visit the One Stop Centre
- Assist women in filing FIRs, court cases, and legal complaints against perpetrators
- Guide women through the legal process and help them understand their rights under various laws
- Prepare legal documents, applications, and petitions on behalf of affected women
- Coordinate with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) and empanelled lawyers for case representation
- Maintain confidential records of all cases handled and legal proceedings initiated
- Follow up on ongoing court cases and keep affected women informed about case progress

Minimum Qualification
Degree in Law with legal training or knowledge of laws
Preferred Qualification
Practicing Lawyer with litigation experience in courts
