Office of District Panchayat, Durg (Chhattisgarh) has announced recruitment for 3 contractual posts at the block level under the Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission (CGSRLM/BIHAN). This recruitment covers 2 Block Project Manager posts and 1 Regional Coordinator post. The notification was digitally signed on 19 March 2026 under File No. GENCOR/6986/2026, in reference to the order ESTB/1107/2025-Section CGSRLM dated 23.02.2026. Only Chhattisgarh domicile candidates are eligible to apply for these positions.

Who Can Apply?

Block Project Manager (Rs. 39,875/month):

• Education: Post Graduate degree or two-year Post Graduate diploma from a recognised university or institution
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience after completing PG, working at Block or Cluster level in a managerial or coordinator role related to rural development, poverty alleviation, or livelihood programmes in Central/State Government, Local Body, or Government-aided institution

Regional Coordinator (Rs. 26,490/month):

• Education: Graduate degree from a recognised university, plus a one-year diploma or certificate in Computer from a recognised institution
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience after completing graduation, working at Block or Cluster level in a managerial or coordinator role related to rural development, poverty alleviation, or livelihood programmes in Central/State Government, Local Body, or Government-aided institution

General Requirements:

• Domicile: You must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh. A domicile certificate and caste certificate issued by the competent authority are required
• Medical Fitness: You need a medical fitness certificate issued by a Medical Board
• Experience certificates are accepted only from Central/State Government, Local Bodies, or organisations listed on the NITI Aayog website

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 35 years old as on 01 January 2026
• Age Relaxation: As per Chhattisgarh General Administration Department guidelines for Chhattisgarh residents and reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen)
• Candidates who married before the minimum age of marriage are not eligible for appointment

Salary

• Block Project Manager: Rs. 39,875 per month (consolidated, contractual)
• Regional Coordinator: Rs. 26,490 per month (consolidated, contractual)
• Contract duration is initially 1 year, renewable based on performance appraisal and mutual consent
• No pension, gratuity, or death-cum-retirement benefits are applicable for contractual appointments

Selection Process

Selection is based on a merit system with a total of 100 marks. Here is how marks are distributed:

For Block Project Manager (100 marks total):

1. Academic Merit (70 marks): PG percentage weightage (35 marks), Graduation percentage weightage (20 marks), 12th percentage weightage (15 marks)
2. Experience Marks (15 marks): 2 marks per full year of required experience (max 10 marks) + 1 mark per full year of CGSRLM experience (max 5 marks)
3. Interview (15 marks): Personal interview to assess your suitability for the role

For Regional Coordinator (100 marks total):

1. Academic Merit (75 marks): Graduation percentage weightage (35 marks), 12th percentage weightage (20 marks), 10th percentage weightage (20 marks)
2. Experience Marks (15 marks): 2 marks per full year of required experience (max 10 marks) + 1 mark per full year of CGSRLM experience (max 5 marks)
3. Written/Skill Test (10 marks): A written exam or skill test to assess your abilities

Candidates with equal marks will be ranked by age, with older candidates given preference.

• Monitor the implementation of poverty alleviation and livelihood schemes in assigned areas
• Assist in capacity building and training of community-level workers and SHG members
• Maintain records, data, and MIS entries related to NRLM activities
• Work closely with District Programme Management Unit and state-level SRLM teams
