Educational Qualification

• M.Sc Nursing route: M.Sc Nursing from a recognized university or institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, with 3 years teaching experience in a recognized Nursing College, Nursing School or Training Institution.
• B.Sc Nursing route: Post Basic B.Sc Nursing or Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognized university or institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, with 5 years teaching experience in a recognized Nursing College, Nursing School or Training Institution.
• Experience level: Teaching experience should be on a post not below the rank of Nursing Tutor, Class-III or an equivalent post.
• Registration: At the time of appointment, you must be registered with the Gujarat Nursing Council as Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife or equivalent cadre.

Other Requirements

• Computer knowledge: Basic knowledge of computer usage is required as per Gujarat civil service rules.
• Language: You need adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: You must have completed 21 years on the last date of advertisement.
• Maximum age: You must not have completed 40 years on the last date of advertisement.
• Age reference date: Age will be calculated on 19 May 2026, the last date for receiving applications.

Selection Process

3. Final Merit: GPSC will prepare merit using 50:50 weightage between preliminary test marks and interview marks.
