The District Programme Office, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Bhojpur (Ara) has issued Advertisement No. 01/2025 for filling up 29 vacant posts of Lady Supervisor on a contractual basis. This recruitment is exclusively for serving Anganwadi Sevikas working under ICDS in Bhojpur district. There is no written exam — selection will be purely based on merit calculated from educational qualifications, years of service, and national or state-level awards. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
• Experience: You need at least 10 years of continuous service as an Anganwadi Sevika under ICDS in Bhojpur district. Your service record must be satisfactory, as certified by the concerned Child Development Project Officer (CDPO).
• Domicile: You must be a permanent resident of Bhojpur district, Bihar. A residential certificate from the competent authority is required.
• Gender: Only female candidates (serving Anganwadi Sevikas) are eligible for this post.

Note: Higher qualifications such as Intermediate, Graduation, or Post-Graduation will earn you additional marks in the merit calculation.

Age Limit

• You should be at least 21 years old.
• Maximum age is 45 years (as notified in the advertisement dated 29.01.2023, Letter No. 41).
• Age Relaxation: An upper age relaxation of 11 years is available as per Bihar government rules, making the effective maximum age 56 years for eligible categories.

Salary

• Selected Lady Supervisors will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs. 25,000 per month.
• In addition, you will get a travel allowance of up to Rs. 9,000 per month (maximum) for visiting Anganwadi centres under your supervision.
• This is a contractual position. The honorarium is fixed as per Bihar Government notification dated 04.10.2023 (No. 5543).

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is entirely merit-based. There is no written examination. Your final merit score will be calculated based on the following criteria:

1. Educational Qualification Marks: Marks will be awarded based on your Matriculation percentage. Extra marks for higher qualifications like Intermediate, Graduation, and Post-Graduation.
2. Experience Marks: You will get 10 marks for 10 years of service as Anganwadi Sevika. For each additional year beyond 10 years, you receive 1 extra mark. Only full completed years count for the additional marks.
3. Awards: If you have received a National or State-level award as an Anganwadi Sevika, you will get bonus marks in the merit calculation.
4. Merit List Preparation: A final eligibility merit list will be prepared by the District-level Selection Committee based on total scores from qualifications, experience, and awards.
5. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will need to present all original documents for verification.

Note: If two candidates receive equal total marks, the older candidate by age will be placed higher in the merit list.

7. Write "Application for Lady Supervisor Post from Anganwadi Sevika" on the top of the envelope.
8. Submit the hard copy to the District Programme Officer, ICDS, Bhojpur (Ara) by 24 April 2026, 5:00 PM — either in person or by post.

• Guide and train Anganwadi Workers and Helpers on nutrition, health, and child development programmes

• Monitor the distribution of supplementary nutrition and ensure proper record-keeping at centres
• Assist in organizing health check-ups, immunization drives, and awareness campaigns for mothers and children
