Korea District Coordinator & MIS Assistant Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

The Office of the Collector (Tribal Development), District Korea (Koriya), Chhattisgarh has invited applications for temporary appointment of human resources in the Forest Rights Cell under the Dharti Aba Tribal Village Elevation Campaign. These positions support the implementation of the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 at the district and sub-division level. Both posts are contract-based and non-transferable, initially for one year with possible extension based on the Forest Rights Act provisions.

Who Can Apply?

For District Level Coordinator (Rs. 30,000/month):

  • Qualification: You need a Graduate degree (Snatak) from a recognised university.
  • Computer Knowledge: You must know how to use computers. Knowledge of MS Office is essential.
  • Experience: You should have experience working with Forest Rights Act 2006 implementation. Candidates who have worked as FRA coordinators or in tribal development projects at the district level will get weightage in selection.
  • Domicile: You must be a resident of District Korea, Chhattisgarh. Preference given to candidates from the concerned district.

For MIS Assistant (Rs. 20,000/month):

  • Qualification: You need a Graduate degree (Snatak) from a recognised university.
  • Computer Knowledge: You must have computer proficiency. Knowledge of data management and MIS systems is preferred.
  • Domicile: You must be a resident of District Korea, Chhattisgarh.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 40 years as on 01 January 2025.
  • You should be at least 02 years old in experience (minimum 2 years of relevant field experience is preferred for the Coordinator post).
  • Age Relaxation: As per Chhattisgarh Government rules for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Salary

  • District Level Coordinator: Fixed monthly honorarium of Rs. 30,000.
  • MIS Assistant: Fixed monthly honorarium of Rs. 20,000.
  • These are contract-based positions — no DA, HRA, or other government allowances are applicable.
  • The contract is initially for 1 year, extendable based on the continuation of the Forest Rights Act scheme and satisfactory performance.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

  1. Screening of Applications: If more than 50 applications are received per post, a preliminary screening exam with 50 marks on general knowledge and subject-related questions will be conducted. Candidates scoring 50% or above will be shortlisted.
  2. Interview (50 marks): Shortlisted candidates will appear for an interview before the District Level Committee. The committee will assess your qualifications, experience in FRA implementation, computer skills, and overall suitability.
  3. Document Verification: Your original certificates, experience letters, domicile proof, and other documents will be verified.

Note: Posting will be done at the district level (for Coordinator) and sub-division level (for MIS Assistant) by the District Collector on recommendation of the competent authority.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of the Forest Rights Act 2006 at the district and sub-division level
  • Maintain FRA records, prepare MPR, PQR reports, and coordinate with officials on forest rights claims
  • Handle data entry, MIS reporting, and digital record-keeping for the Forest Rights Cell
  • Coordinate with Gram Sabha committees, block-level staff, and Forest Department officials
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and reports for the District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC)
  • Provide training and technical support to field-level workers on FRA processes
  • Monitor the progress of forest rights claims and generate periodic progress reports

Graduate Degree from a recognised university with computer knowledge

Preferred Qualification

Experience in Forest Rights Act 2006 implementation at district or sub-division level. FRA coordination experience gets weightage.
