Who Can Apply?

PGT Posts

• Qualification: Integrated PG course from an NCTE-recognised institution with 50% marks, or Master's degree in the concerned subject with 50% marks and B.Ed. / integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. / four-year integrated degree where applicable.
• PGT Computer Science: M.Sc. Computer Science/IT, MCA, M.E. or M.Tech in Computer Science/IT with 50% marks, plus the required teacher education qualification.
• Preferred: Ability to teach in Hindi and English, experience in a recognised school, residential school experience and computer knowledge.

TGT and Librarian / TGT Library Posts

• TGT Qualification: Four-year integrated degree or Bachelor's/Honours degree in the concerned subject with 50% marks, plus B.Ed. / integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. where required.
• CTET: TGT posts require CTET Paper-II conducted by the Government of India, where applicable.
• Librarian / TGT Library: Bachelor's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science with 50% marks, computer application knowledge, and working knowledge of Hindi and English.

Staff Nurse

• Qualification: B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, regular B.Sc. Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised university or institute.
• Registration: You must be registered as RN or RM with a State Nursing Council.
• Experience: You need 2.5 years of experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds after the nursing qualification.

Age Limit

• Fresh candidates: Upper age limit is 50 years as on 1 July 2026.
• Ex-NVS / superannuated Government school teachers: Maximum age is 65 years as on 1 July 2026.

Salary

• PGT: Rs. 35,750 per month at normal station and Rs. 42,250 per month at hard station.
• TGT and Librarian: Rs. 34,125 per month at normal station and Rs. 40,625 per month at hard station.
• Staff Nurse: Rs. 34,125 per month at normal station and Rs. 40,625 per month at hard station.
• Residential school condition: JNV staff may need to stay on campus and handle residential duties as per NVS requirements.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

6. Interview: Most posts will have offline interviews at listed JNV venues; third language posts will have online interviews.
7. Final Merit List: The final merit list date will be notified later.
