Who Can Apply?

For Block Project Manager (Rs. 39,875/month):

• Qualification: You need a Postgraduate degree or a 2-year Diploma from a recognised university.
• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience at Block/Cluster level in rural development, poverty alleviation, or livelihoods with Central/State Government, Local Body, or a Government-listed NGO (listed on NITI Aayog website).

For Cluster Coordinator (Rs. 26,490/month):

• Qualification: You need a Graduate degree from a recognised university plus a 1-year Computer Diploma or Certificate.
• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience at Block/Cluster level in rural development, poverty alleviation, or livelihoods with Central/State Government, Local Body, or a Government-listed NGO.

Chhattisgarh state domicile is mandatory for all posts.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 35 years old as on 01 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limit is available for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories as per Chhattisgarh state government rules.

Salary

• Block Project Manager: Rs. 39,875 per month (consolidated, contractual)
• Cluster Coordinator: Rs. 26,490 per month (consolidated, contractual)
• The contract is initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance appraisal and mutual agreement.
• Note: No pension, gratuity, death-cum-retirement benefits, or other allowances are provided for contractual appointments.

Selection Process (Merit-Based)

Selection will be based on a merit score calculated out of 100 marks. Top 15 eligible candidates per post will be called for written/skill test and interview. Here is how marks are calculated:

For Block Project Manager:

1. Postgraduate Percentage: Weightage on marks scored out of 100 in PG — up to 35 marks
2. Graduate Percentage: Weightage on marks scored out of 100 in Graduation — up to 20 marks
3. 12th Percentage: Weightage on marks scored out of 100 in 12th — up to 15 marks
4. Relevant Experience: After the minimum required experience of 2 years, each additional full year gives 2 marks (maximum 10 marks)
5. CGSRLM Mission Experience: Each full year of experience under Chhattisgarh SRLM earns 5 marks (maximum 5 marks)
6. Interview: 15 marks

For Cluster Coordinator:

1. Graduate Percentage: Weightage on marks scored out of 100 in Graduation — up to 35 marks
2. 12th Percentage: Weightage on marks scored out of 100 in 12th — up to 20 marks
3. 10th Percentage: Weightage on marks scored out of 100 in 10th — up to 20 marks
4. Relevant Experience: After the minimum required experience of 1 year, each additional full year gives 2 marks (maximum 10 marks)
5. CGSRLM Mission Experience: Each full year under Chhattisgarh SRLM earns 5 marks (maximum 5 marks)
6. Written/Skill Test: 10 marks

In case of equal merit, preference will be given to the older candidate.

• Assist in linking SHGs with banks and financial institutions for credit access
• Conduct training sessions and awareness programmes for community members in rural areas
• Prepare monthly and quarterly progress reports on livelihood mission activities
• Coordinate with district and state mission offices for programme implementation and reviews
