National Institute of Technology Warangal JRF Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal) has released a project recruitment notice for a Junior Research Fellow under an ANRF-IRG funded research project. The project is titled Mechanistic insights of CO2 Conversion into Methane over Engineered Perovskite-based catalysts under mild conditions. This is a temporary project post for up to three years, or until the project closes, whichever is earlier.
The work is suitable for candidates who want research experience in heterogeneous catalysis, catalyst development, characterization and CO2 methanation. Performance will be reviewed every year. The selected person may also be eligible to register for a Ph.D. at NIT Warangal as per institute rules, but they must apply separately when Ph.D. admission is advertised.
The work location is NIT Warangal, Telangana, and the project will be guided by Dr. Ch. Anil, Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering. - Marks for PG route: General, GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL candidates need 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA at both UG and PG levels. SC, ST and PwD candidates need 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA.
- B.Tech route: B.E. or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical, Energy Engineering, Materials or a relevant catalysis-related specialization.
- Marks for B.Tech route: General, GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL candidates need 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA. SC, ST and PwD candidates need 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
- Preference: Candidates with GATE qualification will get preference.

Responsibilities
