NIT Warangal Computer Assistant Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal) has released an advertisement under Project Advt. No. NITW/MMTTC/MANPOWER/2026 dated 11-05-2026 for one Computer Assistant position. This is a project-based role at the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, which is funded by the University Grants Commission. The position is purely on contract for 4 months, up to 30 September 2026, extendable based on performance and project extension. The Computer Assistant will help the Program Coordinator run Faculty Development Programs, workshops, and short-term courses.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / BCA from a recognised University or Institute

Desired Qualifications (Preferred)

• Master of Computer Applications (MCA) will be given preference
• Experience in video recording and editing academic lectures or educational content using professional tools
• Proficiency in office automation, drafting, designing brochures, banners, certificates and data entry in portals
• Working experience with video camera operations, audio recording, lighting setup and screen capture tools
• Familiarity with online learning platforms like NPTEL, SWAYAM, MOOCs and YouTube Studio
• Familiarity with online conferencing platforms (Google Meet, Zoom, WebEx, Teams)
• Knowledge of graphics and animation tools (Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Canva)
• Good communication skills and ability to work with faculty and technical teams
• Working experience in UGC funded projects

Salary

• Consolidated salary: Rs. 30,000 per month

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

1. Shortlisting — The list of eligible candidates will be published on the institute website and intimated through email.
2. Interview — Shortlisted candidates must attend an online or offline interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
